Conditions
Time for the task: 2 weeks to research a religious belief, teaching, ritual or practice provided by a religion to help people in their search for freedom.
Submit Part A – Report as a Microsoft Word document through the plagiarism software Turnitin in SEQTA by 8:30am on the due date.
50 minutes in class to complete an essay based on research of a religious belief, teaching, ritual or practice provided by a religion to help people in their search for freedom
Task weighting
12.5% of the school mark for this pair of units
Due date
Monday 25th July 2022 – Term 3, week 2.
Part A – Report: 2.5%
Part B – Essay: 10%
Turnitin Similarity Report: ≤ 20%.
Generates report upon submission (can resubmit until due date): After 3 resubmissions, reports generate after 24 hours.
Word limit: 1250 words (+/- 10%)
Address each of the following in a written report:
• Explain from the point of view of a religion how people search for freedom (4 marks)
• Describe the nature of one religious belief, teaching, ritual or practice (5 marks)
• Outline how this religious belief, teaching, ritual or practice seeks to help people search for freedom (7 marks)
• Use correct APA referencing style for a bibliography (4 marks)
At the conclusion of this investigation a validation essay will be written in class.
You will not be able to use your report (Part A) or notes when writing the essay.
Part A of the investigation will be submitted prior to commencing the essay and Part B will be completed in class.
